So anybody here ever try to make a Glock 10mm longslide? I was thinking it would be an awesome pistol.

I do not know if you could take the 35 and swap in a 10mm barrel. All the 10mm Glocks I have seen the slides are probly the heftist of the Glock models. If you put a 20 in 10mm next to a 21 in 45ACP there is a difference. Then I do not know about loading to Norma levels with a plastic frame.
I've seen some custom long slide 1911s and EAA was peddling the 6" barreled Tanfoglio Witness "Hunter" (CZ clone). They changed it to where it is a full slide and long frame now. I always thought the early 6" models were cheap looking with the barrel/slide extention. I've handled the new Hunter in 45ACP but not in 10mm and it seemed half-way decent longslide for $900 and I was able to hit poppers at over 75yds easy. Steel frame so it is a bit hefty but if your in to the big pistols IMO worth the money.

Rossman I here the Glocks handle full power 10mm just fine. So I have no concerns there. I was looking at the Lonewolf conversion: www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=80618&CAT=234I just think one thing that is very interesting to me is that if I am reading this right, you can take a Glock 21 ACP, buy this 10mm slide, sights, small parts, barrel and mags and assemble the slide/barrel and then have by just swapping the "upper" and mag, you can have either a 10mm longslide or a standard G21 45acp. Since I have quite abot of 45 acp ammo laying around allready it might be the way to go for me. Too bad I swapped off my last G21 last year.
