Well what I know is just a little but a start. Winchester made the famous model 12 pump gun and the Winchester Model 42 was the small version of that gun in .410. Browning made the same gun later on in Japan under the Browning name. Very quality very nice shotgun. Not as collectable as the Winchester version, but still a very nice gun. Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks The only reason I wanted it is my Grandpa had a Winchester with a cyl. choke. He bought it out of the Shotgun News. Sent cash to Kansas and received it in the mail. That was a long time ago. He didn't know it was a cyl. choke till it got here. He was never very proud of it because of that. After he died Dad traded it off then it was stolen from that guy. 161
