Has anyone shot one of these? I saw one today and it looked and felt great. But for the price tag I'm not sure its worth the looks and feel.

Winchester Semi-Auto shotguns share a lot of features with Browning Semi-Autos now, so that leads me to beleive they are either one company or Browning is making the X3 for Winchester and that would make it Jap Junk. I lost all faith in Bowning when I picked a new one off the shelf and saw made in Japan on it. I would drop the money on a Benelli first. Just my 2 cents.

Some Browning and Winchester models have been made in Japan for years. The parent company is FN, which owns Browning and licenses the Winchester trademark. Winchester itself has not made a firearm since 1980 when it sold the plant to a employee group to operate as U.S. Repeating Arms. In 1989 they went bankrupt and in 1990 FN bought it up and then closed the New Haven, CT plant in 2006. Model 70s are now made at the FN plant in SC and everything else is made in Belgium or Japan.
You can't really knock Japanese guns, Weatherby Mark Vs were made by Howa from like 1970 to 1995 and all the Vanguards are made in Japan.

I have a Win SuperX in the 3.5inch. Never had a mis-feed, jamb, or any problems with it. That said, it sits in the safe 99.9% of the time, because I can miss two times with my over and under, instead of three times with the X3 (shooting doves and ducks is very hard for me, and I learned I will pull the trigger until the gun is empty). I have carried the X3 in swamps from Ohio to South Dakota. Point is an Over and Under is just cheaper for me to hunt with...... However, my hunting buddy has a Beretta 390 that he picked up at Wally-world that is an amazing shotgun. I can hit clays all day long with it (but still miss doves and ducks? ).
