I came up with a pretty good box to protect your Chrono. It's useless when it's at home. Ya i stuck a Blue MMP sabot right thru the screen. I did get the numbers with the 250grn Lehigh bullet. I sent them off to Lehigh to figure the BC. I dont have a program to figure it out here. The chrono's were 100yds exactly apart. I will post the BC'S as soon as i get them.

Grouse,
Can you post your numbers here? With ballistic charts maybe someone here can back into the number?
When testing, did you run some identical loads over each chrony up close to make sure each chrony was reading consistently the same speeds with a identical load?
Good post and interesting project.

I actually did this twice by switching Chrono's to check numbers. At the muzzle- 1929-1900-1952-1926-1936 At the targer- 1479-1461-1494-1474-1494
