Anybody know anything about the Winchester ML?
Would it be a good candidate for a custom smokeless? I've only seen one and it's priced similarly to the 700ML I guess. Are they 209 already?

I don't believe that u can change the barrel on those. Its been a while since I last seen one but I doubt it.

Those were actually made by BPI aka CVA.

Me and my uncle owned one, we ditched them after alot of reports of Kabooms. Came with a nice stock though and fluted barrel.

I had one that I gave to my dad when I got my Savage. The most accurate muzzzleloader that i have owned along with my Savage. It was basically a CVA only with a better trigger and bolt. Im pretty sure the barrel is not removable. The gun would shoot sub- moa out to 300 yards with Pyrodex. Tim

I agree with trb0.
I still have mine and it came with a .45 and .50 barrel, very accurate but I haven't shot it in about 5 years. It would NOT be a gun to convert!

OK, thanks.
Just happened to come across one down here that was stainless for a reasonable price.
I'll keep looking for a 700ML.
