Anybody have any thoughts on the new for sale board? Doesn't seem to be much activity.

If there's a way to edit your post after you back out I haven't found it. Also, it's very slow to open/get to. In spite of this, it's better than nothing if you want to buy or sell.

It's kinda hard to read with the colors they are using.

Not hard to use if you read and follow instructions. Mike

The problem with editing is everyone is the same!
If editing is allowed then someone can change your post. I have editing set to a short time so if you make a mistake you can fix it....too slow to edit and the ability is gone.
It is an ongoing process.

Instead of editing you can just post another reply with the edit.

Hey...it worked for me. I have a nice smoke poll coming my way from a fellow member.

If the intention was to reduce traffic on this site, they have likely succeeded. I say this with regret.

I have posted a wanted to buy and made a deal. I have also purchased from a for sale post.
It appears to be a workable solution from my perspective.

I liked the old one better BUT then again ,it takes me mos on this D@#$ computer to catch up . I hate change but Since I cannot help to make the new site better, I will refrain from criticism , Rusty

It's different from the old one, but I'm getting used to it. And I scored a couple of ML parts from some great members. I'm glad to see it back. Thankyou, MODS for all the hard work.

I like the new for sale board and have had great success with it thus far.
I only have one suggestion that will help buyers. If I want to check what is on the board I have to log in every time. I know you can set the save log info, but since I wipe my browser memory every time I exit this does not work, and I would suggest many others set there browser to do this as it will help with computer slowness issues.
Is there a way to have a link at the log in page to have a read only snapshot view of just the posted topics or even at a minimum the number of topics or if anything new is posted and a date. For quick reference to see if there is anything new.
Just a suggestion,
