Bought this pistol a while back and it has a E.Brown break that has very large openings. I really cuts the recoil down. I looked the break up on the sight and it sold for $195.00 Installed. It's a 45 Winchester Mag Caliber that was Winchester answer to compete with the 44 Mag. When I got it was 15" had it cut down to 12" to comply with the Delaware Law. I shot it the other day and I am really please how it shot, It really has promise. I never heard of the caliber till I saw an ad for the barrel for what the break costs alone, I got dies and brass with it what a buy. I could handle buys like that every day, but they only come by once in awhile. Delawares pistol season comes in Jan 1, 2011 for a week, really looking forward to that as I have a permit to hunt from a vehicle, this will be the first time I have to get out due to my Disability. It's really funny now how things work years ago I had only 3 various hunting weapons and it was a no brainer what to use. Now with so many different rifles, pistols, and shotguns I have a hard time trying to figure what I want to hunt with? And another thing my health wasn't a problem as it is now. I think we should be born old and grow young, How's that sound? Well I thank the good Lord. He has given me other things that I am greatful for. Well enough belly ackin' Happy New Year one and all. Lou

Hey Lou that is a beautiful piece, congrats. How about a bigger picture? I bet that gun is pretty loud with the muzzle brake on it. I would never admit to firing a gun from a vehicle, but I hear they can be pretty loud when fired from inside a truck . You might want to double up on the hearing protection, or at least take a rag to wipe the blood from your ears !
