Does anyone know if a savage ML II barrel will thread onto a Savage 10/110 action? Wanted to build smokeless on a Savage action and thought I might be able to purchase a Savage ML II barrel and install onto action.

A Savage standard barrel shank is 1.055" x 20tpi. You should be able to screw it in but if your using a centerfire you will have to go with a breechplug that takes casings.
On the 10ML-I and on some WSM and RUMs and the target action they use a 1.120" x 20tpi which is what is called the "large shank".

Some of the early type II's (non-Accutrigger) were of the large shank as well. I have 2 older type II's that Savage sent me back in January 2002, that are both large shank. It's a shame too, because I had 2 .45 cal PacNor's, standard shank barrels, ready to screw them in, but they no-fitty.

One guy told me that Savage just about never throws anything away. If they screw up threads or rifling they will just go to the next size. Most of the 10ML-I actions that were left after the switch to the 10ML-II became single shot centerfires. Ever now and then I will come across one usually in .223. Hard to miss with the "M" prefix in the SN. Haven't ran across a large shank 10ML-II yet.

Are there any other rifles besides Savage, Stevens and Marlin with this pitch threads for possible builds?

Remingtons are 16 pitch. I think Rugers and Winchesters are also the same 16 pitch but different diameters. Weatherbys and Brownings are metric.
