In our group, almost every big buck has something in them. We have found shotgun slugs, 22 bullets, birdshot, broadheads and target points.
The foster shot gun slug had entered behind the ear at an angle and rode the skin to halfway down the nose. Probably from long range hail mary shot

Two years ago I took a 8 point with the M/L and found a three blade rage buried in the front shoulder. It looked like it was from the early archery season.

John, I think the deer with the Rage in the front shoulder was mine; two years ago I hit one in the shoulder and lost it, arrow and all. Harley

Harley I don't no why you never got on his blood trail. It didn't go that far, Only went to Eastern N.Y.

Congratulations. I rarely find any damage on deer I've killed, except my damage ;D.
