Tar...........I am obviously not familiar with the equipment you mentioned. The only instrument I know of for pressure testing the Oehler 43 P which I knew at one time went for around $1200.00 and probably more now. Sorry Richard

I have tried a couple of duplex loads when several have reported good results. I don't know if it is more accurate because my gun,( yes, thanks to Boarhog, I now love my 10ML but used to hate it,) is accurate with just about anything. I have found that 1.5 inch groups in this gun are terrible, because of about 15 loads, that is the worst it has shot by far. However, I got an extra 200 FPS from the duplex. I can only surmise that it equated to a good bit more pressure looking at the increase in velocity. The ones I have tried are on the lighter side, but I am happy with the results.

Tar..........that is an interesting instrument. If my computer skills were a bit more advanced and I had a lap top, I might seriously consider such a set up. In view of the foregoing, I guess I will have to "fly by the seat of my pants " I watch my velocities and get a feel for just how much the gun kicks and reports. Primer extraction and appearance are also some what useful as is the issue with blowing sabots. I guess its a cumulative thing; Just as it is with CF cartridges....You must look at all the signs and then make an educated decision I guess I'm just looking for a better mouse trap? Richard
