About ten hogs came to the bait pile. Picked a sow that weighed about 80 pounds on the hoof and fired. The bullet struck the animal on or close to the spleen a little higher than i like. The lungs and heart were destroyed. The stomach was torn, perhaps by a bullet fragment. i skinned this hog and the exit hole is over 1.5". Bang flop.
Range: 90-110 yards Position: Standing broadside

"was it a pass threw or did you recover the bullet?"
It went all the way through, punching through two ribs and leaving a 1.5" exit hole. i've killed 10-12 hogs with the 350 grain FPB and have not recovered one yet. Two of those hogs weighed about 250 pounds: They were also hit behind the shoulder.
