Is ther any way to set the trigger on PRE 64 MOD 70 WIN. FROM MAYBE 1.5 UP TO 2.5 OR MAYBE 3 LB PULL> THANK YOU RUSTY

The answer is yes the trigger pull weight can be changed. The trigger pull resistance comes from the sear contact friction and the strength of the trigger return spring. There is no adjustment screw but the trigger assembly is pretty straight forward. I would suggest that you add strength to the trigger return spring. A new spring, stretching the present spring, using shims to create more tension. I suggest you remove the barreled action from the stock and study the simple trigger assembly. It pivots on a pin and there is a screw that has a nut and I believe a pal nut to lock it. After study, you can make a decision if it is a do it yourself job or if you need a smith to do it. I have adjusted many and I am no genius. Look it over and if you can't visualize a fix then seek help. The trigger assembly employs a trigger stop which can be adjusted to prevent the trigger from moving enough to release the sear. Hope I haven't confused you. Good luck
