I always used RWS for dependability. I remember experimenting with them by submerging them into a cup of water for 15 min. then turning them over to tap out the water and place them on the nipple and they all fired. CCI #11 mags are a little hotter, but they absorb moisture in damp conditions (like late muzzleloading season). If you change them every hour with fresh ones you may be O.K. I would wax in the cap by dripping wax from a small candle over the cap and nipple. When the wax hardened I scratched the top if the cap off. I got full ignitions in driving rainstorms without fail. Remington brand caps are also good. Not the old kind! The ones now available are just repackaged RWS caps and perform as well.
