:)Nice deer and shot. Yes, it is a good way to retire the 50. You will like the 45:Less recoil, flatter trajectory, probably more accurate, etc.

I like deer that have character, this guy has it in spades.
Is the venison any different? Not that I figure on castrating any bucks in my lifetime, just curious.

He's now a European skull mount hanging in my gun room and a box full of venison salami in the freezer. Looks good and tastes good. Thanks ;D Zen
