Amanda, the light of my life just got a half day facelift and tummy tuck. She was just about a tenth of an inch too wide in the hips to really run with the big girls and had a few cosmetic problems. A lot of sanding, buffing, and refinishing this morning and she's ready to go out for a few more dates this year. The last couple of years since her birth she's not been able to get out much. Last year she did bring home some money and a pocketknife when she went out one time. Hopefully this year she'll have a few more dates and get to run with the big boys. She's a blueprinted Remington 700 action with a Krieger 1:7.5 28" barrel bedded into a laminate stock and chambered in 6BRX. Here she is all ready for the prom.

You picked a good color for the stock, thats about the same as my BRX. What scope have you got on her? Myself and shooting buddie went with the Burris 8x32 black diamond, very nice scope. I've gotten to test some bergers 105gr with IMR 4895 and varget so far,got some loaded to try tomorrow with R-15. So far hunting season has interupted my practice. Will get back to it more after Jan 1st. Rifle looks great.

That's a Weaver 36x scope. I'd really like to change it out in the future for a variable and hopefully a little better quality but that's what the piggy bank could afford when I built it. Wish I could afford a Nightforce Benchrest model. The rifle should come in just under 17 pounds with one of them. I've had best luck with the 108 Bergers but the 105s didn't do badly and lots of folks have great success with them. I've just been too lazy to work with the 105s. I've stuck with Varget ever since I built her. I run a mild load. Like you Herman after hunting season I have some plans for some more testing to see what she'll run best. She'll shoot in the .3s at 200 yards but that's the longest range I've got close by. I hope with a little more experimentation she will tighten some more. We'll see.
