Anyone every use the black cloud steel on ducks?
I haven't bought any duck shells in many years and only go duck hunting a few times a year. I finally ran out of my old shells and went to a dealer. I didn't wan't to pay the big dollar so I ended up with some black cloud 3's -3 inch mag for my twelve gauge, which seemed about middle of the road in price. Are these any better than regular steel? and what is your favorite load for ducks?

I'm not a big waterfowl guy, but I do like to shoot a goose from time to time. I bought two boxes of Black cloud BB. I liked them, if I do my part thing fall from the sky. You can definitely tell which holes were made by pellets with the ring around them. 161

i have used black cloud on geese it made them fall like i was shooting them with a 50 bmg. with a good hit the bird is down period. i would recommend black cloud 2 anyone. if it will take a goose out it will easily take a duck. like the box sais drop ducks like rain. it will do its job with no problem
