Sorry that I have a question and not a answer for you Dxt20, But prior to using the "Black Cloud" shells did you ever try any of the so called Hevior than lead shells, you know the tungston, iron and plymere type and if so how do they compair to the BCs?
Im wondering as my friend is a hard core water fowler and he uses Winchester and only Wincheaster's Heavior than lead shells and says they are well worth the price. The BCs are about 1/2 the cost of the HTL shells.
Thanks, Arthur.

the black cloud are odd shaped steel shot mixed in with regular round steel shot. the odd shap is said to creat a bigger wound channel. the shot is in a protective wad to seperat them from the barrel until it leaves the barrel. if your barrel is ok for steel shot , it is good for the black cloud shot.
