Yesterday I spent 4-5 hrs at the bench prepping 9mm, .40 and .45 cases. Deprime, cleaning flash holes, flaring mouths and repriming. After 25 years of reloading I realized you can prime and flare in one step without removing the case from the shell holder. Does everyone that loads short pistol round do this? It saved about 700 press cycles for me yesterday.

I do all of my priming with a Lee hand priming tool. I like feeling the primers seating in the primer pocket with the hand tool. That means flaring is a separate step for me. However, I like the idea of getting two steps in one press stroke.
