I have a factory ml2 with a laminated stock. The recoil pad turned to junk All sticky like it melted. Is there a prefit recoil pad I can get to replace it?

You must have done the same as I did: use a Simms recoil pad from 15-20 years ago. They had a bad batch that just melted. Horrible.
I’m no help. I put on grind-to-fits.

I have a bad one also with the laminated stock. I had heard the company once would replace them. When I have done some replacements I have used the Decelerator pads. Quite happy with them and they have held up and fairly easy to grind on. You can get some replacement recoil pads that are almost perfect in size so no grinding is needed.

Limbsaver SA10601 was a perfect fit on mine.

That is a good number to know. But has the company corrected their material formulation, so there are no more problems with deterioration? Mine has dozens of mini-cracks now and it needs replacement.

Looks like it. They sent me two replacements 2 years ago for Limbsavers on my Omega and Encore. They show no signs of reacting with the foam in the bottom of the safe which is what was causing the reaction with the original Limbsavers.

Remington had the same issue with the R3 (Limbsaver) recoil pads on their 870’s. Their new pad works well but the fit is atrocious. We’ve replaced hundreds of these.

Fitment on the T/C's were as good as the originals...not perfect, but about a 1/32" overhang here or there that could be fixed if it bothered me that bad.
