It appears the Fury MZ Bullets in .40 and .50 are advertised as bonded while the .452 are advertised as the jacket soldered to lead core. Do the soldered bullets hold up as well as the bonded? I'm looking to use my Apex 45-70 conversion for elk next year in New Mexico so I'm currently thinking of trying the 290 gr Barnes T-EZ over BH209 but if the Fury soldered bullets hold up as well as the bonded I would like to try the 300 gr as well.
Would also like to try the Fury .452 250 gr for deer with smokeless here in NY if they're as good as the bonded. If not I will probably just use the .40 225 in a sabot.

I'm thinking the bullets are (bonded) the same, just described differently.

Take this as hearsay as I have not checked with Fury, but I was told by someone who buys from him often that the muzzleloader bullets were the only ones bonded now.
The rest have had the jacket thicknesses tweaked until he feels that they have adequate controlled expansion.
Contact Fury to verify.
