I haven't had to order bullets in a couple of years. I went on Luke's site to order Parker ballistic extreme 275 grain. It seems that he doesn't carry them anymore. What is a good substitute? I've been shooting them with 69 grains of H4198 and a veggie wad. Savage ML10-2 with a brux barrel. I have to size them down a bit. I'm open to trying any bullets and if possible also powder suggestions (type and weight). Thanks in advance.

Doesn't he still have some 300gr BEs? And Parker offers bulk pricing if you call.

I've been shooting the Fury star tip2 bullets and hunted with them last year. They shoot excellent and work on game for me.

Check out Fury and Lukes ASG XLDs. The 300 XLDs have tipped over several nice elk and muley.

Yep either should be good. I’m carrying st2 now. Get a 10pk of each and see what your gun likes.

The Barnes 290gr TEZ is .451 and it shoots great out of my son's 45cal with just a lubed wool wad.

The fury 275 st2 shoot amazing.... better than the parkers did. I went out tonight to double check my cold bore shot and actually put 2 through the same hole 1.25 high at 2800fps. I just put it back in the case.

70g of H4198. 2800 FPS and ES was 15 I’m shooting the ASG 209 BP and have found that actively cleaning the primer pocket every 10-15 shots with a drill bit keeps my ES down and groups tighter.

That’s out of a savage ml 2 50 cal . The standard what’s safe in mine might not be safe in yours applies
