Picked up some 40 cal 180gr XTPs for plinking metal plates. Couple loads showed some promise with H322 as the fuel a couple days ago at 100yds. 68gr H322 180gr XTP 71gr H322 68gr wasn't as tight last night, still sub .5 MOA, but 71gr was close to duplicating for 2 groups. Overlaying last nights groups, measured in the .3s, if I hadn't moved the scope the 3 consecutive groups would have been sub .5 MOA. Wouldn't use it on game, velocity is probably 3100fps+ in this short barreled gun, but it is a suitable summer time, short range plate banger. Cheap too.

Yeah I would call that good shooting for just plate banging, chuckle. Nicely done.

Great shooting!
Might be terrible with game, but I would love to see the results of one connecting with a coyote!

4 @ 200yds off the bipod and rear bag. Including the cold fouled bore shot, roughly .875", last 3 approx., .6875" or .328 MOA.

When you say that a certain load that shoots a 1/4" group is not as tight as your 1/8" group, it's kinda funny. Your change in heart rate could have caused that! Or a 1 mph difference in wind. Or a slight change in some other atmospheric condition. In any event, you are a very good trigger man and those are very nice groups to be proud of.
