Since Luke is not doing Savage 10MLII conversions anymore is there anyone out there any more that will do them? Or, are there any DIY instructions floating around?

Luke still sells the barrels and BP's. I'm sure he could talk you through it. It's simple enough that even a Neanderthal (me) can do it!

you can order a DD 45 cal barrel from pac nor and have it threaded for a savage breech plug. Installing them is a piece of cake

Luke has pre-fit savage barrels. What are the breach plug options?

With the socket head breech plug you do not need to remove the bolt. You can use a swivel and socket to remove it. I use a 1/4" ratchet extension a swivel and socket and take it out with the open bolt.
