I got my Ted Cash nipple wrench, now i can remove the nipples n clean my .44. I also got the holster, i rubbed in good bit of mink oil to the ruff dry inside leather. It should soak in well n help keep it from chaffing my cylinder as i seat n remove revolver

Learning as i go, tore down the .44 n used dawn an boiling water to clean the revolver. Dried it n put breech plug grease on all nipple threads n the cylinder arbor. Assembled it n now will get a bore brush when i go to town. Then i can shoot n clean it n practice shooting

I have a Lyman and a Ruger .44 cal new army revolvers. They are a ton of fun to shoot. Since the Ruger is stainless I run it through the dishwasher then dry and lube.

Those SS models sure clean up well. I have not even had a chance to go shoot mine. Real busy trying to get my 2 ML's all sighted in & ready.

ive tweeked my ubertis with new wire springs and a perfect honed forcing cone.ive taken off the high gloss on the grips and made them a oiled finish. all my percussions ive made into catridge with howell cylinders. they shoot to the point of aim at 20 yards and can take the head off of a snake. i really enjoy them and afer minor tweeking they are much better than originol colts. i have 12 of them and every single one of them is my favorite. i can take a colt apart blindfolded. all their cylinders are well reamed cant say that for rugers. when i reamed my ruger to specs it shot holes in holes but not as i bought it. sold it as the grips didnt fit my hand. now it shoots but wont buy another ruger. just uberti colts or s and w uberties. what is my favorite ubwerti colt? every one of them. when i tweek them they talk the talk i like to here.
