I’ve shot xbows for the past 35 years. Excaliburs almost exclusively for the past 6 seasons, and will continue to use Excaliburs. But for serious arrow testing and evaluation, I need a gentle xbow(Solution), high energy launching xbows (the Excals with 260-290# instantaneous on the nock of the arrow), and an ultra fast xbow (Aculeus 180 440+’/sec). Many on this board are shooting smokeless MLers that are parallel to the Scorpyd Aculeus 180. IF, YOURE A HIGH PERFORMANCE MLER SHOOTER AND WANT TO GET INTO OR ARE INTO CROSSBOWS, SCORPYDS ARE WORTH YOUR CONSIDERATION. They are fast and unbelievably accurate. I am aware of the one glitch, the first year Death Stalker had a bump in the road. It’s patched now.

I have the similarly designed Vision. Love the balance, I think it could be shot one handed if I was forced to.
My only complaint is the extreme string angle is hard on the center serving.

Mark, I have about 120 shots on the Aculeus now. Serving still looks new. A # of Scorpyd shooters have gone to a double served string which seems to be the answer to premature serving wear. Reverse draw just makes sense.
