Heard Greg Rictor of TC fame state on TV the other night that a sabot & bullet is more accurate than a full form bullet. How can that be at any distance

Could be he truly means it for his current setup, could be he’s ignorant about FF sizing, could be he knows that’s not right but is trying to sell 50 cal TC muzzleloaders.

I never thought they were more accurate even though I have a few that are quite that but I still find it easier overall, especially for one just starting, to use the sabots. Just a heat issue if shot in higher temps when practicing in the summer. My daughters sabotted load/SML works so well for her she did not even want to try one of my non sabotted loads.
