Eye candy for you and I am stuffed! lol I hope we don't burn this smoker up to soon! It is seeing heavy use weekly from us...ribs,wings,meatloaf,Boston's....gotta love it! We smoked this 9lb Boston 25.8 hours....low and slow....it literally falls apart and is oh so moist...had a homemade cottage cheese, pineapple.extra sharp cheddar cheese salad along with some homemade macaroni and potato salad and last but not least some tomato fresh from the garden! Excellent meal! I fixed a plate and set down to watch some football.

Nice job on the pulled pork. What was the internal temp when you pulled it from the smoker? What flavor of wood did you use? I did a packer brisket yesterday, and finishing it in the sous vide.

I use one of these tools on a cordless drill to shred the pork or beef after smoking and resting. It takes about 7 seconds to pull a pork shoulder. This tool is outstanding. I am going to shred a brisket flat tomorrow with it.

We used Apple wood this time....I like all of the fruit woods as far as that goes with pork..the internal temp was 189 when my son pulled it...I was looking at getting a brisket...STICKER SHOCK! lol I will break down and get one soon...I also want to smoke some prime rib as well. I also want to try the sous vide method as well....you never hear any complaints! I have read a good bit on the subject and it intrigues me!
