Yes I do, and thank you. It's obvious that there are some who need to know him.

Amen, Jacqueline, Amen !!! Perhaps you could find a church in your area that has an AWANA program where you could get involved in children's ministries. By doing so you will meet and be involved with a lot of parents that don't go to church (drop of the kids) and desperately need Christ. What a beautiful burden you bear.

Very well put, Jacqueline. Hell is a punishment we cannot even imagine, so severe, yet many go thru life oblivious to that fact. 80 years of punishment would be very bad but forever...................... Our minds cannot even fathom it. We need to make a decision before this life is over or it is too late! We never know when life will end here, mine almost did in 1958 in a bad farm tractor accident. I just wanted to go to heaven but Mom couldn't tell me how even though our family went to church. God was gracious and spared my life even though it took 5 years to recover. Mom and Dad had the pastor come and talk to them personally a year and a half after the accident and he pointed them both to Jesus. I accepted Jesus a month later and now all brothers and sisters (8) know Jesus. I, like you, asked the Lord for an outreach ministry; never expecting to be in volunteer prison work! Now almost 19 years later our weekly Bible study is still going! Read about the 2 thieves crucified with Jesus, one mocked Him and the other put his trust in Jesus- to live with Him eternally! Luke 23:39-43 Just remember Jesus will forgive any sin if you humbly repent. Ask Him to be your Saviour- then trust Him. You have no other option, Acts 4:12 I like guns, cars etc. but all that will come to an end- then we go to the next phase of life- eternity! Salvation doesn't happen automatically, each of us have to invite Jesus into our lives. One day we will all stand before Him and give an answer................

This whole thread and response makes my heart smile. Yes I know Jesus. He saved me from myself. You ask about a ministry you can do to reach out. Here is what my wife's Sunday school did this last Sunday. The teacher had them all bring in some sort of ready to heat or ready to cook casserole..land a loaf of French bread (breaking bread) and sent them out in pairs together. They were to deliver those meals to those unable to get out readily or shut in. They were to pray together out loud before they pulled out. Each pair was given an envelope with instructions to open it after the delivery. Each envelope had a gift cardfor $ 25. In a local grocery store....there were 10 of these cards. The instructions were for each pair to roam the designated grocery store and together pick out someone who looked like they could use some help...and to witness some. My wife and her friend both sent them at the same time. It was a young couple ..2 children. She was on crutches. Both were quite surprised and the young mother came to tears...and told my wife and friend that they lived across the street from our church...and had contemplated coming. Talk about a wow experience. It has me thinking about taking some of my weekly donation from time to time and doing something similar. And by the way....Her Sunday school teacher funded the ministry out of her own pocket. But she actually funded 2ministries. One by letting her girls serve the lord in a speacial way. And by showing a stranger that GOD loves them. Here could be a ministry you could do .....sounds like fun to me Good Luck and GOD BLESS Drop

Drinking and drugs almost ruined my life back in the sixties. Through the power of the resurrected Christ I found freedom from all that and have served Him for all the years since. Zen

Good post. The second paragraph about hell is right on. The first paragraph is ridiculous though. Nobody is going around saying that Hell is a big party. Scripture says in John that to love your life in Jesus is to hate your life here. A little confusing to me, but I actually look forward to my life after this. Thanks for posting.

this is the way it is with christ and the father. you have the gift of saving souls for the kingdom. every one who is a born again christian has different gifts, mine is prayer and healing, yours is lost souls. dont go to your pastor for advice. reconize the gift you have and also remember you may not reap all what you plant out their.you may plant and another reaps. thats ok. pray this way. put those in to my life i can plant the seed of salvation, some i will see do it others it will be up to others to see this through. be happy you plant the seed of salvation and be happy that you can see some of them do it. also remember their are many gifts, mine again is getting prayers answered no matter what they are. alot of pastors are way behind in developmentment in christ. dont look to them. look to God and his Son. now you know your gift, it is lost souls, plant the word of salvation, some you will see come to it but never ever be angry is others reap what you have planted. the end result is a soul in heaven. HOPE IVE HELPED, IVE LIVED ALMOST 80 YEARS, this is what i have learned.
