Yes the second sentence is pretty clear ... I thought 45-70 break actions were center fire actions.

I may be wrong. Should wait for Luke to reply.

I just read and re-read my posts. Centerfire only including 4570.
Sorry my bad.

Gen2 is sold as CF only. So rem or sav CF or as has been pointed out most break actions.
Nobody has worn out a bushing yet. In addition to Nick knocking on 1K with 45, I have another customer at 500+ with hot 375 cal loads

I hope the .375 loads/powders get shared with us in the future. That loading is a bit of a mystery yet

I have a cva apex and was thinking about going with the gen 2 ... luke, is there an option to go either gen 1 or gen 2 with the cva 45-70 apex ? It is currently machined for your 209 asg plug

Luke, do you expect any pressure change with the gen 2 plug vs the gen 1 plug with the shorter flame path ? I would suspect very little since bushing size would be the same but want to clarify. Also, will your HIS compatible gen 2 plug be a drop in fit as far as head spacing goes ?

Also, will your HIS compatible gen 2 plug be a drop in fit as far as head spacing goes ? Gen2 is more efficient than Gen1, so there will likely be a pressure increase. The HIS compatible Gen2 plug is a drop in fit.
