I have had a Super Black Eagle 1 since '07. Absolutely no complaints. This gun gets hunted hard. I don't take it easy on my shotguns like I do rifles or muzzleloaders. Rain, mud, ice, snow it's been in it all and never a jam. What really made me a believer in it was once me and my father in law had about a 100 yard sneek/crawl through cattails to get to the middle of a pond that was loaded with mallards and geese. When we were close enough to shoot I got up to a knee, tipped the Benelli barrel down to drain the water out. Stood up and we dropped 3 geese and 3 green heads. Reloaded and shot 2 more green heads. One of my most memorable hunts and made me a loyal fan of benelli shotguns.

I've had a cordoba since 2006. Love it. Only 3" chamber, so maybe not best waterfowl gun. But it's fantastic for wing shooting crows and doves which is what I mostly use it for.

I have had a 12 gauge M2 3" for about 10 years and have never had one issue. Had a 12 gauge M1 3" prior to that and sold it to a buddy and it is still going strong. Never have waterfowl hunted with it but I have shot lots of field loads, buckshot and turkey loads and it just eats what ever you put in it.

My dad has a SBE I, and I really detested shooting that thing. But they are proud of them. I bought mine used, and I think I still paid like $1200 for it. As far as cycling goes, the Cordoba has never given me any issues. And I've shot a lot of 1oz Win super speeds through it (my favorite crow load). After about 8 years of owning it, it got to the point where on really cold days it would cycle and eject, but I had to reach up and push the bolt forward. After a strip down cleaning and removing enough debris for a small mouse nest, it snapped right back at it.

I have had SBE 2 for 8 years. Bought specifically for waterfowl hunting. It eats anything and everything I feed it. 2 3/4" to 31/2" very light to brutal heavy. It's my do everything gun from the skeet field to the dove field to the sporting clays range to the goose pit. I Have shot the 3 1/2" Beretta, Browning, and Winchesters and I have to say the Benelli is my favorite. Pricey! FWIW if you do decide to buy one spend the extra $100 and get the camp dipped gun if it's gonna be used for waterfowl hunting. It will hold up better than the parkerized "blued" version.

Ive had my sbe 2 since it first came out . I love that gun I have shot everything from turkey loads to light trap trap with zero problems. I hunt my guns hard and used to destroy old piston operated guns in just a few seasons. I tried as a test and haven't cleaned my gun in 8 years now and probably 15000 rounds and zero problems and not one failure to feed or fire. I've even used this thing as a boat paddle and pushpole while in the boat and still no problems.
