These are pretty good LRFs. I purchased one this past summer and used it on a oryx hunt last month. I had no problems ranging out to over 1800 yards on oryx. I compared the outputs with my Leica Geovids out to 700 yards and the results were comparable. It is a great unit for the price. The new version of this LRF measures out to 3k yards. That is impressive.

Forget for the money, this is beyond a pretty good rangefinder IMO. I got one last fall and I love it. It ranges almost everything deer size or bigger out to 1500yds. I've ranged cows at 1950yds. I highly, highly recommend. It shoots way further than I can.

Nice link Steve, the Sig did well against some stiff competition.

Hard to beat for that price
I've got some of the new 2400ABS on order. Supposed to have them within a month if anyone is interested in one.

Schweeeeet!!!!! Finally unwrapped mine and tried it out. This unit is great.Even better than what I was hoping for.Quality product at such a good price. Has all the features I will ever need or use.Easy to use and set up. Talked to a Sig Sauer tech last week at the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg,Pa...He gave me some tips on how to use it in scan mode which worked out great. I have several other brand units that cost more that don't come close to the quality of this one.
Thanks Dave W

Glad it worked out for you guys, tried yours out yet Rambler? Weather has been crappy, but out of the box it seems really cool. I still need to find some defined distances and study more on the options.
