Youngest son made what is turning out to be an annual trek to the great state of Kansas again with three other guys. All four tagged out on public land. Saw a couple good bucks that wouldn't cooperate but no monsters. Weather was pretty warm for most of the trip. One guy tagged this one on his first sit of the first day. Another guy shot this one last weekend I believe and his buddy shot a smaller buck on the same morning. Chad waited to the last day before arrowing this one this morning. Had to strip down and go for a dip in the water to retrieve it. Naturally a solid 140's buck strolled in following the trail of the doe his buck was chasing after he shot this one. Couple guys from GA helped him cart it a couple miles back to the truck which he appreciated very much! No eye popping bow kills, but it was another good trip with success for all and he has scored two years in a row!

Dave: Looks like the boy needs to give you some lessons, tell him congrats from Kenny. He still asks for advice when it comes to hunting, when it comes to bows, I am the one asking for guidance now. Thanks guys!
