Well, the time of year is here to start planning my trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone N.P.'s for an early October fishing trip. Will fly out of St. Louis and land in Jackson Hole with a single stop in Denver or Salt Lake City to switch flights. I'll be staying at the Signal Mountain Lodge and fishing the Teton area for the most part with a couple of days in Yellowstone. I love that time of year as the trees are changing and the wildlife starts moving to lower elevations for the winter. Just picked up a new digital camera (Canon SX10IS) and can't wait to try it out on Elk, Moose, Bison, Antelope and Mule Deer. I will definitely post some photos here after my return. I hope and assume the fishing will be good as usual for that time of year. Will keep you posted..........

How fast can you get here? I'm leaving (alone) at 4:00 a.m. Saturday. Have no one to fish with. You can bring a GPS and map it yourself. I trust ya!

I only get up at that time of night for one thing at my age.............and that is to go relieve my bladder! ;D Give us a fishing report when you get back?

I have never had much luck fishing out west until the fall of the year..........late September, or even early October. I did fish Yellowstone during a summer back in the late 70's and did extremely well, but that was before whirling disease and overfishing by too many tourists. Sorry you didn't do any good fishing.........i wonder how Jenny might have been? Seems like road work is common out there. Once again......too many tourists! Later, KerryB
