This has to be one of he quickest SML success stories I've heard of, not sure this guy had a SML for any longer than 72hrs before he tagged out. Joshua contacted me on a Saturday afternoon looking for a smokeless muzzleloader to replace the encore he had been unhappy with. Biggest problem was he needed the SML for Monday's opening day. I had a rifle of my own that was close to done but I hadn't worked on in quite a while. Without even seeing it he said he would take it and put a scope on it. All I had available was a swfa 3-15x42 that I had bought for myself. Threw the rest of the rifle together with the scope and Josh was at my place by 9:00 the next morning. When he saw the gun, coyote tan and black flutes, he said "I absolutely hate the looks of it, but I'll take it". I could feel this whole deal about to implode and him being very upset about the 3 1/2 drive to get the gun. We shot around 20 shots to get him acquainted with the process and I think he is a full fledged addict now. He headed home to get ready for Monday's Ohio gun opener and here are his results from the week. I believe he took this buck closer to Wednesday but can't remember exactly. Anyways, josh knows about this site and I really like the looks of this buck so I thought I'd post it and see if he stumbles upon it.

That's awesome. The cool thing about finish is it can get blasted off and redone if you hate it.

I suspect that deer wasn't real fond of the gun either. The beam diameter of that thing is awesome. He looks a little damp though.

Great buck and congrats to him. At least I'm not the only one to pull the rug out from under your feet. I feel better now... haha

Great buck and with a new rifle. Cant beat that! Nothing wrong with the way that rifle looks... The flutes on my Sendero are painted black and that is one of the things that I love about it.

Love this. Nothing like getting them hooked. It's happened to two of my friends and then they each got others hooked. Oh yeah nice deer too!
