I shot this guy coming out of my swamp yesterday morning head on in the lower neck with my Apex 45-70. I had Hornady leverevolution in my cartridge holder but I used my 405gr cast (lee mold) with 26gr of IMR4759 because I knew it would be a close range shot and it was (about 40yrds).

Dressed out and with the tenderloins removed a hair over 190 pounds.
