Well since the rumor going around is that there are not any .375 SML out there, a no one has one, some guys are building one to test. When I first heard this it kind of took me by surprise, so I decided to pull the BLUE ANGEL out of the safes, and get her ready for hunting season. Had this gun for over a year now, and yes it is a .375 caliber. I only tested her last year with 325 gr. Speer bullets, and just about the end of hunting season shot some 250 Barnes TTSX out of her. Got her out today, and took her to the range. The bullet was a TTSX 250 gr. First target was 100 yrds, the first two shot were with some 235 Speer's that I had left and they hit a bit left, the next four were the 250 TTSX and they were right there. I adjusted right two clicks, and took her out to 300 yrds, fired three shot, was happy, and packed everything up and went home. I guess that this gun and Rob's gun and a couple of other ones don't count, but it is what it is. For you guys that might consider one here are the pics. The first target is the 300 yrds one.

Great shooting as always! I was just thinking about putting the .375 barrel back on my savage until I found out about some new .45's to try. Probably should just sell this barrel since I have another .375 build in the works.
Looks like we will need some rain gear for opening day of ml season. Sooo out of the 5 different caliber ml's you have which will you use first?

Carlos: I had my first .375 in late 2007. It never shot as well as yours however, maybe the trigger puller. Nice looking.

Carlos Does the blue tape on your bags help the gun to "ride" the bags better? Good shooting....as usual! Thanks Drop

The first one out is the .416, and then the .375, after that who knows.

Carlos, I take it there was no hold over when you moved out to 300 yards ? Great shooting eml9 the gun will shoot flat out at 200 yrds with out any hold over what so ever, and since I don't have a new turret for the CDS scope all I did was click it 10 clicks up and pull the trigger. No hold over.

The one I have is a PAC NOR nad it is set up for full form bullets, and i believe yours was not full form. I hope i'm correct in saying that. Any way you were the actual guy who started it and for that my thanks.

Carlos Does the blue tape on your bags help the gun to "ride" the bags better? Good shooting....as usual! Thanks Drop The reason for the blue tape is that my bag is so old it was falling apart and I like so much I could not bear throwing it away for anew one, so I fixed it with the blue tape, and then found out it helps ride the guns also.

Carlos: My first barrel was a land rider, my second I got the full form die. Actually the 232 Norma Vulcans in 9.3mm shot pretty well with VV140 powder just knurled ever so slightly. This is all from memory, I did not pull out the notes to verify. Krieger barrels on both, first one braked the second one not. I enjoy your photos and reports. Keep up the good work. TGinPA is generously doing various pressure testing on the barrel now. That should help you .375 guys out.

Great Shooting Carlos....I remember your range report on the .375 last year...on another forum...you have your rifles all set as far as deer down accuracy...Also I remember Cole built a nice .375 and was set in a tactical stock..was real nice looking ..now it looks like the new age of sub calibers is becoming the popular thing...I got another 700ML to send to Cole...doing a .40 this time...
also love the look of the Blue Angel....next one you build do in Zombie wood...call it the green avenger..haha

They built him the gun, got it sighted in (off camera) previously and handed it to him for the video! Saw that a while ago Cuda. It was a no brainer on the owners part, he just had to pull the trigger. Of course the wind had to cooperate also. Not saying the gun was not accurate but no magic on the shooters part.
