Now that you mention it my other targets like that...but with the orange round dots dont look like these...they look like recycled paper. These are Redhead brand targets from Bass Pro. Funny thing...I never used the little ones on the four corners before....was afraid I would land off the paper...lol. i try to keep several packs of these on hand Drop

Richard The trick to thise bullet hole being so perfect? You have to sharpen that 45/70 case . Then put it in the drill press.... Lol Drop

This homasote board I mentioned is what was traditionally used in BR competition as the backer. Now many are going to that corrugated plastic board that was mentioned. It is about the same price as the homasote for a 4 x 8 sheet. Russel.............that is exactly what those holes look like!

Beautiful gun and some great groups there! I also use the corrugated plastic, but I get mine free. Whenever there is a local election there are the signs all over at different intersections along the road. The day after the election I grab all I see left on the side of the road in my travels

Lol..@ Richard. I read on aearlier.post.where you asked someone if they used a 45/70case to cut their holes. If you blow up the pix thiugh you can see the tears and fuz around the edges. I went out and looked at that paper a little while ado. It is a very crisp paper. Not noticably heavy though. Noticed they are nice holes. But never really thought about it..as to why. Why do you think some are so much.more crisp that others? I will get out some targets from last couple of shoots and compare some photos Sometimes the targetboards are OSB. But lately rhey have been using 1/2 plywood. It doesnt disenigrate nearly as bad. Drop
