I am going to site in my friends Black Night. It has a front sling stud so I am going to attach my Harris Bipod to it so that I can keep steady at 100 yards. Will using a Bipod be okay for this? I know that it sounds like a lame question. But I know, from my past experience as a member on Doug's Message Board, that there is alot of good knowledge to be had here. I am going to give the barrel a good cleaning and then start shooting from a dry bore. Using Triple Seven FFFg (I'll start at 75 grains and work up. Using 250 grain Shockwaves (his choice......I'm a Barnes man myself). Anyway, it is great to visit y'all again!!!!! I hope that some of the regulars from a few years back are still here. Anyway, I appreciate any feedback about bipods and muzzleloading (sighting in work).

Bipod might work, might not. I would try to use a front rest and rear bag.

Like 45 omega I'd use bags and more bags from the bench. I suggest 85 grains of FFF in the 777. Was really accurate for me back when I shot smokers. 10 ga

Thanks guys. I finally got her sighted in with 85 grains of fffg Triple 7 and 250 grain Hornady SST's. Now, I am going to sight my MK85 Predator stainless with laminate stock. I bedded the action/recoil lug two years ago and it is still rock solid and is quite accurate with a number of projectiles. This year, I am going to try 85 grains of Triple 7 fffg and 260 grain Scorpion PT Golds. I just hope that they will open up inside a deer's boiler room.
