Started loading up my spent .450 cases and its been a LONG TIME since I've loaded CF cases. Like learning all over again. Thank goodness I had an experienced reloader who also loads the .450 Bushmaster provide advice, especially on crimping.
I looked high and low for LilGun and couldn't find it. One of the local shops knew I wanted some and had one of his buddies coming back from Chicago look. I ended up with a 4# container for $110. After shooting the muzz for so many years, loading just 38 grains is certainly different. Loaded up one box but have yet to fire a round of my reloads. The factory ammunition shot extremely well, now for some tweaking of the .450 and maybe improve.

Yeah, its one heck of an accurate round and rifle. I believe it'll shoot more accurate than I can shoot it. I'm not and have never been fond of the XMark Pro trigger and may one day change that to a trigger I like more. I like the Timney 512 and would probably exchange it from my muzzleloader and then install a Timney Calvin Elite on it. A different trigger (for me) would probably tighten things up. I do though enjoy shooting it as a change up. I'm a little bummed though.... one of my friends purchased one and had his wife searching for ammunition cheap. She found it, Hornady 250gr FTX for $17.00 a box. He bought a case. Good part of that is, he's offered me all his brass, as he doesn't reload.

Sparkman, The 450 Bushmaster is a terrific deer round. I have one built on a Savage action with a 17 inch barrel. I have taken a couple of deer with it, really good performance on game..
Just like the OP stated, extremely accurate round.
Mine is really accurate out to 200 yds, havent pushed it any further..
Still shooting factory ammo too.
