A while back I made a trip to the cMc factory to pick up some guns Cole had ready for me, I took along a couple others for him to take a look at and see if he was up for some unscheduled extra work.
I took along the daughters 40 cal in hopes of having a radial brake installed and I also took my 45 in hopes of a tactical brake and a new trigger, I was fully expecting to leave these guns and pick up at a later date.
For 1. Cole has a pretty big back log of guns to get built and 2. it was a weekend and he was under the gun from his boss to get them to the lake for their weekend get away. So my expectations were to pick up my builds that were ready and leave these there for the additional work.
To my surprise, and I don't believe you can find this kind of service every day, even with his workload and pressure to get the family on their way to their get away, Cole stripped Carri's lil 40 cal and in no time it was back together with a radial brake machined to fit and installed....
He looked at me and said: Are we doing that 45 or not? I said, I'd like to but I feel bad cause you're under the gun here to get goin.... Well, in no time flat, the 45 was stripped, a tactical brake was machined to fit and installed and as it was going back together, a new Timney trigger went in during the process.
As an added bonus, both guns went in the blast cabinet to get a fresh blast before reassembly...
I can't say enough for the quality work and kindness that came out of that shop that day, you just can't get that everywhere at the drop of a hat, especially under his circumstances that day!
That type of generosity speaks volumes..
Here is the lil girls 40 cal with the brake installed.
Here is my 45 with the brake installed.
Thanks again Cole!
