Read down thru the post Dave W. posted on "Things I have learned" thread. Savage Shooter tip. Powder lots numbers can affect accuracy and velocity. Always check two different lot numbers side by side on the same day and under the same conditions. Temperature can have an affect on loads, check your hunting load in as many different conditions as you can, especially cold temps. Different bullets types size differently. Vacuum hose works nicely to index a full formed bullet to the lands if the gun has a brake. When shooting multiple powders on the same day, throw away the first shot when you switch powder types. Not always, but at too high of a percentage for my liking, the first shot ends up out of the group. Read more: dougsmessageboards.proboards.com/thread/17680/learned#ixzz3gx1m7cVm

The funnels I make are first a powder funnel but then it is a bullet starter for full formed bullets. There are indexing marks on the funnel if you want to index the bullets.

Rossman's funnels work great. I've got some on hand I can show you when you stop by to pickup your die.

Not fancy but functional. Vacuum hose inside a 2219 arrow shaft. Left the hose long so it can be trimmed if the end splits. Normally the bullet would have an index mark on it which would line up with a mark on the crown of the brake to intersect the land you are indexing to. The hose alone will do the job, the shaft just gives it some stiffness.
