mavenbuilt.com/optics/Wondering if anyone has tried these? The glass is supposed to be superb for the price range. Lot of options to customize to your preference and no middleman to keep prices down.

Buy a pair and I'll try them out in Colorado for you. They look nice.

They aren't keeping the prices down too much. The binos I recommend most are Zen-Rays, www.zen-ray.com/shop/.

The glass is supposed to be comparable to some Swaros at twice the price. Zen-Rays supposed to be very good too, those are some nice prices.

I don't have any experience with those but I have purchased optics from swfa and when they cut the middleman out you get better optics at a greatly reduced rate. Hopefully these resemble that experience.

Son picked up a pair of 8x30's. compared them to a pair of Swarovski ELs and Zeiss HDs. IMO Not equal to the Swaros but every bit as good as the 8x42 HDs and at half the cost. They blow my Pentax's away in low light conditions.
