I'm building a new gun and I'm trying to do 90% of it myself with help from the professionals. As most of you know i'm getting the Kash/Myer bolt made. I've been spending a lot of time at Pierce engineering Wednesday night I spent about seven hours down there running 20 of our bolts through the CNC machines basically I was loading Parts and pushing a button Then checking the tolerances. I'm building my next muzzleloader off of Pierce Action. John tig welded the bolt handle on today and got to fit the bolt to the action basically grinding, hand filing to fit. Tomorrow I will be installing Luke's plug threading and head spacing and installing a muzzle break if I don't mess it up . Lol I planned on posting pics of the venture Hopefully by then the next week I't will be up and running .

Almost looks like jewels. I can't let my daughter see that, she would want one for her firearm.

They are rubber gloves but Cole was trying to get me to wear a scarf lol Doug.. Just some friendly advice. Gloves and lathes don't go very well together. Especially rubber gloves.. You can very easily get them caught in the chuck and then you will be missing a hand or finger.. Ive seen two bad accidents in my day involving machines.. One was a guy that had very long hair, ponytail two feet long, he got it caught in the lead screw on a lathe and it almost scalped him.. The other was a temporary worker that we had set up to de-burr holes in parts that were burned out on a laser. She insisted on wearing gloves and she got the finger tip caught in the de-burr tool and it twisted her fingers up in the glove and broke her wrist.. Messed her up pretty bad.. Good thing for her the spindle was running at a pretty slow PRM. So I think when Drop said "get those gloves off",, he has probably seen or heard of a few accidents himself.. Jeff.

They are 5mil nitrile gloves guys, Doug is pretty soft but I think he could fight his way out of them. I've seen too many guys with crippled fingers from oils to mess with them day in and day out without protection.

Good looking spread. Must've cost a lot to build. Yes he definitely has a beautiful shop and to top that they could put a 1200 yard range next to the driveway that go back to the shop. Definitely had a great time and learned a lot. Here's a few pics

Jeff Thanks for your concern trust me I would never put myself in danger. I think your average condom is about 100 stronger than those gloves. They are medical gloves there's no way possible they would pull your hand into the machine and they're so tight on your hands. I would have more concern of your shirt or slipping and falling into the machine then get hurt wearing those gloves
