Hey Guys.... I got a package in the mail from Bob Parker.. He has made a very generous donation to the shoot. He sent a bunch of bullets for me to give away as door prizes. We will put everyone's name in a hat and draw them out.. If you get drawn you will get some free bullets...
Also Fred Arnold (hunter) has donated one of his bolt nose conversions kits and that will also be given away at the drawing.
Thanks Jeff.

Keith.. The next shoot will be in February or March. This way Christmas is over and most of the hunting seasons should be closed,, just got to remember year before last just about the entire month of February was in the single digits and even some in the negatives..... How many can handle those temps all day... We would be burning a lot of wood........... Jeff OK I'm trying like all to make August. But February is NOT Spring. Anyway it's trapping season for me and that is about the only way I get to finance my "build" addiction. SO March is much better, plus I found that Duluth fleece lined works good down in some of them low temps, like 25 to 30F. March is pretty idle and bout the only thing going is fixing up summer gear like boats and fish stuff. Also a good month to smelt my hoard of lead "ore" that I have gathered for making boolits and such. So for spring March gets my vote. MapQuest list 443 Miles from home to Hankins place so with luck I'll be in the truck for 9-10 hours on Aug. 13. Hope all well, 10 ga

There is always a way to get warmer when it's cold but when it's hot you can only get so naked and you are still hot. Been telling my wife that for years to no avail. I can handle an early spring thing weather wise.
