Anytime I come across an unknown of interest, I go to as unbiased places that can be found and read the reviews. The reviews of these scopes are pretty darned good at Amazon.com.
Not often a good used rifle comes up for us "lefties"!

Not often a good used rifle comes up for us "lefties"! I didn't know they even made this rifle in a lefty version until I stumbled across it! I read a lot of reviews and the vast majority favored this scope but I thought that maybe one of my friends here had one here and could give a good thorough shake down on one. I am pretty sure my mind is made up already....lol

A left handed scope? That is pretty cool! I have shot right-handed guns all of my life....funds dictated that....but no more....I am acquiring the rifles I have always dreamed about having....lol Got a new left-handed CZ 452 .22 L.R. American setting in the safe waiting to be scoped and dialed in and it is soon to have a center-fire litter mate along with this Savage! A light-weight semi-auto 20 gauge to follow and I will be set! lol

I know you were trying to express right-handed humor! had a 3rd grade school teacher that would crack my knuckles with a ruler if she caught me trying to write right-handed. I told my Father what was happening one day and he came unglued on her....was not long after the old witch was fired for abusing another kid.She was plain evil....lol

A left handed scope? That is pretty cool! Would I ever love that with my side-focus AO scopes!! Had a 3rd grade school teacher that would crack my knuckles with a ruler if she caught me trying to write right-handed. I told my Father what was happening one day and he came unglued on her....was not long after the old witch was fired for abusing another kid.She was plain evil....lol Would that be the one some refer to as "Kankles" and running for Prez?

If it's a 30mm tube version I would say jump on it, if it's the 1" tube it's still a pretty decent scope. I rank it right with the Nikon Omega or Prostaff, about the upper crust of the scopes in the $200 price range since the Bushnell 3200 went away. Don't let him make you think it is worth more then $200. Just getting used to the reticle is the hard part. Once you have it figured out what hash is what range at what magnification and not get confused, you'll be good to go.
If they ever start putting the side focus on the right side you lefties will be too spoiled. Then we'll come up with forms of torture.
