Yep,,, as head boat handler he gets to fish small spots that I don't, but he is a good kid,,,, after he had 3 to my 0 fishing these small fast water holes while I kept the canoe steady as a human trolling motor he wanted to switch,,, I told him to keep on catching,

thats great pposey that the both of you can enjoy a day outdoors like that and also seeing the excitement on your son's face when he reels one in...my son and I would fish 3-4 days a week ..I would get home from work and the boat was ready to get hooked up...he loved being the captain and also out fishing his dad...once he got older he got interested in girls..lol..and fishing went to 2 days a week..was still good time spent with him...
Enjoy the times you have now...later in life you can talk about the good times together

Very thoughtful of others. Not so common these days. |

He really is a good kid,,, I work with alot that are pretty darn rough,,,, makes me appreciate what I have
I bought a dueling post made for .22lr,,, we spent an hour and 300 rounds of ammo on it tonight,,, I have an old winchester 190 that I have had since I was 8 or so. I managed to find him one in as new condition and he really gets a kick out of it. One great thing about those old tube fed 190s is that they will cycle with subsonic rounds, they both shoot the new CCI "quite" .22lr really well and cycle with no problem.
