Myers129: Very nice. Can you take any bolt action CF rifle and make a muzzleloader out of it? What kind of rifle is easier to convert.

Omega, kash can wait his turn or clicky will come unglued on him! Haha
Cowhunter, within reason almost every bolt gun could be converted one way or another. Some would be very custom and the price always reflects that. Savage target actions and remingtons are the easiest ones to do a complete build on in my opinion. My preference will be remington any day though. Thanks

Cole, do you happen to have any pictures of the bare action before and after machining? It'd be interesting (to me at least) to see and hear what went into getting the action ready for this barrel. I know it took some work to get the front of the action ready and to also end up nutless.

Guy, I'll look but I don't take many pictures of unfinished products and kinda rarely take pictures of them. Usually so far behind by the time I'm ready to ship I just pack it up.

That looks awesome, but how do you get $300 bucks tied up in a Boyd's stock?

I would have to look at Guy's receipt again but I believe the upcharges were a little for the color, a lot for checkering, a lot for 90* high gloss finish, recoil pad upgrade, and you have to buy a trigger guard to go with it.

Pretty much right on the money with your guesses Cole, plus I ordered a longer LOP and they charge for that too.

Ol' " Spare No Expense " Hill knows exactly what he wants ! Chris I spare plenty of expenses at times Chris, trust me. For example, I use Weaver scopes that I buy on sale, DNZ rings and things like that, things that save me some coins but work quite well. Although I threw many wrenches into the plans with this build, like requesting a powder chamber, after it was assembled, without a groan, my axis had a powder chamber and was reassembled. Cole is churning out some amazing products, and this is one of them that I can't wait to put to the test.

Yeah but the DNZ cost less than the base alone on 3 of my other guns.

Cole mentioned it and put the idea in my head, now I think I may have to go for it, since I think the gun is more than capable, may have to "go for the gusto" and try some ff out of a 408 and see what it will do with some bullets designed for long range, should be interesting and a new breed for a 40 cal, thinking of some bullets like this possibly.
