Knowing more than some is great, being rude and more, discounts that. You have become quite the authority. I've been in this smokeless arena since 2001 along quite a few more on this board and a little goes along ways! jeff~ X a great big 2 on that one.. New kid on the block with a new toy and now he knows it all.. Ya right.. I have 3 barrels cole has turned from blanks and turned into masterpieces, not prefits, huge blanks of steel he has turned to my desired profile, threaded and built the guns with. I'd say he knows a bit more than most think and his abilities are way more than most think. I have yet to see him brag anywhere on one of his builds. Just because you're on a different train, doesn't mean you should try to derail another when you don't know the facts.. Groupies gone wild, someone needs to put this fire out...

Jeff could you please bend me over and rape me on that build you didn't even put together! $2500 get real! I'm not being rude, lying about your system just to sell it, now that's rude! Remember to come up for air What I do know is that hillbill knows what he is doing, if he gets poofs, it gets my attention. Others just pat themselves on the back and ignore the issue. F it, bill probably messed something up.... YEAH RIGHT!! Myers.. You must have a problem comprehending the words you read.. I said to muznut that the decision he made to BUILD on the Remington Ultimate action and use the HIS was a good decision. I never said I BUILT the rifle yet.. I know you want to make my prices seem out of sight and that you will do it cheaper.., maybe you will, and there's a huge demand for quality work from knowledgeable riflesmiths.. However, you can't open your doors with a know it all attitude and expect to be flooded with work over night. I've been machining and building rifles for over 20 years. Be patient and polite to others and your work will come. Run your mouth and be incorrect half the time and you will be hard pressed to get any work.. And just because you abbreviate a bad word on the board does not make it any different to most as if you just spelled it out entirely. Talking to me and others like that is unexpectable to me and many others. I know you must have a personal vendetta against me and my ignition system but to constantly be making jokes and wise cracks towards it is getting on people's nerves. Now, please,, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.. Thanks. Jeff Hankins.

Jeff hankins I wasn't talking to you it was for Jeff haugland.
I have nothing against your system but don't you think you're a little strong considering it's human built and therefor has flaws? Temp instability, and incomplete burn of slow powders will be where I'll start that conversation with you. 100% ignition 100% of the time don't mean squat if you don't have any numbers to go with it. You are still the only one that pimps your product like a rooster in rut. Guys will find you if they want it they aren't buying it because you're great with words.

It looks as if you are a groupie for Myers. Thanks Jeff Hankins

Earnhardt. I don't know why you get so worked up when I talk about my system. It is proven its self in every test you guys have thrown at it and it proved itself at the first Challenge when five of my rifles took the top five places in an accuracy match. So for 70 fps difference you can keep your 209 primers. I see no reason to shoot any other powder than 4198 when it produces match winning results time after time after time. I have also tested powders from 4198 all the way to h50bmg with no ignition problems what so ever. This is the first I've heard of someone wanting to bring you up on charges for using the .041 bushing. I can't control what others say or do. If people are contacting you about problems with LRMP systems then they are contacting the wrong person, they should be contacting the maker, builder of it to try a find out what they are doing wrong and how to fix their problems. If its my system that's giving problems then they are doing something wrong, but I can't help them if they don't call me. 70 to 100 fps is chump change to me. You can't base those velocities on primer systems. Your chrony is attached to your barrel, directly in front of the muzzle, most others are 15 to 20 feet in front of their muzzle easily explaining 70 fps difference. Again one type of powder and one bushing size and any good quality bullet is all most people want.. Most of these guys are hunters, not testers. They want a go to load that they know will perform every time. Most don't have a 500 yard range in their back yard and the time to shoot daily trying to figure out a load that works. They want a load that will kill deer without doubts. Deadeyes velocities were with a chrony approx 20 feet in front of the muzzle. The only way to get true test numbers is to use the same chrony.. The only reason I am coming out with the HIS 209 is because there are people that still think the 209 primer is better, and there will always be people that think the 209 is better, I'm just not one of them. So if I can offer the 209 primer in my system and the LRMP in my system them I should be able to sell twice as many ignition systems... Kinda like take your pick. I'll have it covered. I spent a day last week shooting my rifle with every powder you asked for. I plan on making a post with the results along with a video as soon as I can get it done. Thanks Jeff Hankins.. You do realize that I'm not worked up right?... That's an argumentative ploy, and it's not working. Jeff, I respect the work you've done with SMLs. But you need to be honest with people here. A LRM gun of yours shot a bullet more than 400 fps slower than a 209M gun with the same bullet and powder load of H4350. You know as well as I do that there is ignition problems with that load right? Don't take this the wrong way , but I liken your videos to a new car commercial. Dude...less videos... and more targets with various powders and bullet combos. What we want to see on the board is more of your guns in action from the people who bought them, and are shooting them in everyday situations. We want to know how the bullet/powder combos work out with various loads. You have to admit, we see very sporadic info on your guns. There is very little known about your guns. Why? I don't know why. I'd like to see how various powders work in your guns, and the info posted by someone who bought it from you. The new car sales pitch just doesn't work for me. The MPG posted on the sticker doesn't match up to real life sometimes. deadeye posted a 2 shot .181" group at 200 yards with one of your guns with a 327 MH and IMR4831. Yes his velocity is lower than mine with that powder, but the accuracy is awesome. But that's one guy posting 1 group. Maybe one of the reasons there aren't as many threads from guys owning your guns is due to fact that there aren't as many of them out there as the 209 guns. I've just always wondered why you never shoot anything, but super fast powders with light bullets in your .45s. Have you ever shot at longer ranges with your LRM guns with heavier bullets? I don't just mean once or twice, but many times. Is the accuracy at long range repeatable with your LRM guns? One of the main reasons guys get bit so hard by the smokeless muzzle loader bug is due to the fact of the unbelievable long range accuracy. But the vast majority of the targets we see are from 209 guns. They are cheaper for us to build and some of us like to build our own guns. It's a good thing you came out with the barrel nut Savage LRM barrels, but if the price is inhibitive, it's not worth it to me, because I know so little about your guns except for the Chevy commercial videos you post. Here's something we do not see with your guns. (and not I don't mean your target gun) A target that has 5 bullseyes on it, where the owner of a Hankins LRM guns just started to lay it down like Richard does, and I sometimes do. One shot after another. I'd love to see that. Hell, have deadeye do it. We all know he's a target shooter, where the rest of us are more of an average shooter. That's why I do it, is to prove to every body else that they can do they same thing a shmuck like I can. But like I said I'm not falling for the fact that the chrony is the only difference in velocities. And I'm guessing a lot of other people aren't either. (180- 430 fps slower?...) How about this, I can use 20 grains less 4350 in my 209M gun than a Bad Bull LRM does, and get the same velocity. And my barrel is 1" shorter. You know as well as I do, that the LRM doesn't ignite slow powders as well as 209s do. But that's why you are using large payloads of fast powders in your 45's and .416s, isn't it? (come on man, admit it) We don't care if it just ignites the powder, it has to ignite it and help it burn efficiently. (400+ fps slower is not efficient)

Why did we need the congratulatory speech for muznut's decision anyways? Is there a ribbon or plaque that comes with such an honor? I'm glad muznut is getting another rifle but still don't see why it led to a public billboard from you.

IDK Jeff, I have a hillbill gun and one from Rossman as well. Right now Cole's offerings, abilities and work, can't be beat dollar for dollar, so if that makes me a groupie, so be it, but I think it only makes sense to put quality sub MOA guns in my cabinet for the fraction of the cost of some others. Just because Cole doesn't brag that he has the best or most accurate sml's in the world, or the best ignition system, doesn't mean they're not A-1 quality and just as capable shooters as any others and a bargain at that.

A pissing contest is any argument that just goes back and forth between two individuals but never gets resolved. Joe: "I can piss farther than you can." Bob: "No you can't!" Joe: "Yes I can!" Bob: "No you can't!" Joe: "Yes I can!" Bob: "No you can't!" Joe: "Yes I can!" Bob: "Prove it!" Joe: "OK, you go first!" Bob: "No, you go first!" Joe: "No, you go first!" Bob: "No, you go first!" Joe: "No, you go first!" ... and so on. "Man! That's one helluva pissing contest you guys are having." Apply the correct names where they fit best!!! ? Zen

I started to leave a long post but thought better. I'm a seeker of knowledge so I can read between the lines. Please don't get it to the point where the knowledge stops because some one want's to pimp a certain gun or system. If you want to sell something that is what the buy and sell is for. Jeff where are you flying from If I could get a ride I'll chip in for fuel etc. I think that would be a great adventure.
