As I prepare to start buying parts to build another smokeless I was searching threads for ideas. I remembered this one and searched for it last night while at work, then bookmarked it. Funny it shows up again the next day with finished results.
Very glad you updated and the rig is looking very nice!! Keep us posted, following with interest.

Looking real good! Let us know if you find a good source for a decent extended bolt knob. I grabbed one of the DIP rails as well, seems like a solid product so far.

Agreed, the rail seems solid. If you haven't mounted your rail yet try putting a single piece of lead shot (7.5 fits perfectly ) under the screws to prevent marring the receiver.

I had a little time this afternoon so ran to the range with a box of CCI SV to give the gun another run before bedding. After zero at 25yds I shot a tall target with the new SWFA SS 6x42mm. After that I shot at 50,75,and 100yds to collect drop data. Wind was a little rough but no misses. Right to left from 50 to 100yds : I had 4 rounds left so I shot 2 each at the 200yds and 300yds targets which are actually 193yds and 306yds. 8mil hold over based on phone was bit too much Based on 200yds target I made an educated adjustment To The computer at 306yds

Lol,thanks. I don't drink and play with guns, I promise. I was running power tools helping my wife make furniture. I just took a break for the photo op.
