Back in early 2013, I ran across their website and was impressed by the ballistics of their ammo. Ammo was just getting hard to find and I was scouring everywhere to find some good defense rounds using the Gold Dot bullet. What I found was:
.357 Mag with a 125 gr Gold Dot HP advertised at 1,600 fps 9mm with a 115 gr Gold Dot HP advertised at 1,400 fps
Well I got 100 rds of each back then because it was very reasonably priced, almost the same cost as 20 rd packs from the big name brands.
The 9mm ammo was very hot and would not extract in my SR9 9mm after trying 10 rounds. I never chronied it and traded it with someone for something else. His Taurus handled them just fine
The .357 stuff is also very hot but only clocks 1,435 fps and is still very fast IMO. (ave 5 shots at 10 ft) This is from a 4" Ruger GP100. It shoots very well at 25 yds. It is what I keep in the gun now.
Have any of you tried their stuff? As of about a year ago, with the NYS Safe Act, we cannot buy ammo over the internet anymore so I will probably never have a chance to buy anything from them again as I have never seen their ammo on shelves. I talked to one of their employees back at that time and he said they only have about 15 people in their plant.

Oh yes, are as you described "hot". Excellent accuracy and terminal performance. Can be hit or miss cycling in auto handguns but are awesome in well built wheel guns.
Is my ammo of choice in Bisley .41 magnum, scoped with Burris 2-7 handgun scope is a deer killing machine to at least 125 yards. Loaded with 210gr XTP is whitetail taking machine! 3" high at 50 is zero at 100 and about 2" low around 135yds.
They make excellent quality rifle ammo as well, I just don't use much as being Nosler fan.

Yeah, from what I remember, they use a lot of Hornandy SST which I do not like. In addition, I reload all my center fire rifle (And the pistols too). With the rifles, it's easy to just reload for performance. But for defense pistol ammo, it's always wise to use a factory round. In court, they will paint a re-loader as a monster wishing to up the ante with "hot" loads. I read that once from the great cop Massad Ayoob. Not sure I spelled his name right.
Wish I could order some more!
